Series I (1920-1984)contains the minutes of Locals 1, 3, 17, 164, 579, including executive and grievance boards and general membership meetings. Series II (1946-1987) consists of the papers of Presidents Frank Dutto, and Harry Lorber and Business Agent Michael Sandroff. Series III (1954-1987) documents standard contract negotiations. Series IV (1964-1989) contains material pertinent to collective bargaining negotiations between individual shops and corporate entities. Series V (1954-1989) includes files on by-laws, elections, legal disputes and grievances, the Cross indictment, union label samples, and other general topics. Series VI (1955-1988) contains records of the Cake Bakers Welfare Fund of Local 51 and the Local 3 Welfare and Pension Fund. Series VII (1902-1978) consists of the correspondence and chronological files of Locals 1, 3, 17, 51, 164, 388, and 579. Series VIII (1930-1993) includes souvenir programs from a variety of locals and trade organizations.
